Janessa Cole, MA LPC

Janessa is a born and raised Idahoan, however she has resided in several western states throughout her adult life. Colorado has been her favorite. She loves the culture of health and wellness and the hospitable, unassuming people that Colorado hosts.

In her practice, Janessa works as a generalist. Her clientele ranges from ages 16 to 75 including all gender identities. The primary focus of her work is on major life transitions. These transitions can include a change in life stage, marital/relationship status, school/career, and or a transition of faith/beliefs. Janessa’s skills and credentials also qualify her to treat anxiety, depression, suicidality, PTSD, and dissociative/panic disorders. Janessa is a certified mindfulness meditation coach and encourages mindfulness skills as an important method of healing.

Services

  • One-on-one counseling with a mental health therapist to guide your healing and/or mental health maintenance. Sessions are 50 minutes long.

  • Narrative based and attachment informed Couples work. . 50 minute sessions.

  • Either Individual or small group guided meditation and education. 30 minute sessions. Customized guided meditations also available on request.

  • Group Therapy offers many benefits that individual therapy does not. We hold Depression Maintenance and skills groups, Anxiety Maintenance and skills groups, and a generalized support group.

Pricing

  • Guided Meditation $30-$50

    $30 meditations will be one of a rotation between: Body Scan for relaxation, Loving Kindness Meditation and Breath work for focus.

    $50 dollar sessions are personalized to the present stressors and customized to meet the goals you have for yourself through meditation.

  • Individual Therapy $140

    Sessions are 50 minutes. Frequency of sessions are set between Individual and therapist.

  • Couples Therapy $150

    Sessions are 60 minutes. Frequency of sessions are set between couple and therapist.

  • Small Group Therapy $50

    Group Therapy is 60 minutes long. Groups consist of Anxiety Support and Management, Depression Support and Management, and Mindfulness Skills Group.

Sliding Scale Plan

Upon request, you may be considered for our sliding scale pricing. Research indicates that therapy can begin to be effective within 8-10 sessions. Our goal is for you to begin seeing the fruits of your efforts as soon as possible. We understand that money is often an additional stressor on top of what goals you have for therapy, which is why we created this plan. We’ll put our money where our mouth is and empower you to live more life in between sessions, while ultimately saving money along the way.

Introductory Rate $70

For the span of 8 sessions, you will be approved for a $70 rate. Sessions are 50 minutes long and is most recommended to schedule sessions on a weekly basis.

Expected Monthly cost: $280

Mid-Tier Rate $100

For the span of another 8 sessions, you will be approved for a $100 dollar rate. Sessions are 50 minutes long and are recommended to schedule on a bi-weekly basis.

Expected Monthly Cost: $200

Full Rate $140

Once you have completed the 16 discounted rate sessions, you will be required to pay the full rate. By this point, we feel confident that you can manage to book monthly maintenance sessions. However, if you are still seeking additional support at a discounted rate, you are welcome to supplement your monthly session with a guided meditation ($35) or a group therapy session that suites your needs ($50)
